   Branches of goverment. I learned who makes the laws, who can pass or veto adn I found out a superme judge has a job for life unless he does something real bad.

   Democracy Quiz. You can vote as long as you are 18 and not a crimnal. That the greeks is one of the first democracys. And they were voted by a lottery.

   Political Beliefs Quiz. You dont have to be like your famly or friends and like the same people. You do not have to vote and your views chang as you get oldr.

   Politial Parites. That there are two political parties. who supports the govrmnet and who doesnt. and what a liberal and conservative are.

   Political Party Orgiins. That George Washington did not belong to a political party. why national banks were created.

   Prsidential Election .You have to be 35 years old to run for Presidnt. You have to raise money to run. there are 2 parties. Repulic and Democrat.

   Presidential Power. You can lead a war for 90 days. That when a President signs a bill it becoms a law.

   Mr. Mundorf, we have been having problems getting this site up and to take the comment. As, you can see on Oct. 7th it says he blogged at 2:36pm he was still in school. He blogged at 3:36pm when he got home. So, the clock is off somewhere. Thank You

   Primaries and Cauceuses. Super tuesday is in febbuary or march after the novembber vote. Primary elections come first.

   Voting Quiz. You can vote by absentee ballot if you have a good reason.
   Voting is a responsiblilty. you do not have to have a high school diploma to vote.

   Womens Suffrage. President Woodrow wilson urged congress to grant women the right to vote. suffrage is the right to vote. In the 1900 only 4 states let women vote.

   I thought was pretty cool on the video voting that if your out of state and can’t make it they will give you an absentee ballet and you can mail it to them.

   I learned on the video womens suffrage that women were not aloud to vote back then. they thought that only men could vote becuse the women had to take care of the kids and do the chores. They also thought they were not educatated enough.
