Hey Mr. Mundorf I did my wonder project on the history of coke. Coke was created in In May, 1886 and Coca-Cola was invented by Dr. John Pemberton that later sold the ingredient to Asa Candler. Dr. John Pemberton sold his ingredient for 2,300 , but in the late 1890s Coke was one of America's most popular fountain drinks.

Hitler had two kinds of body guards the SS and the SA. In December 7,1941 world war two started when the germans attacked Pearl Harbor. The m1 rocket launcher (know as a bazooka) was a very powerful weapon. The Carl Walther Company made a new German pistol called the p38 9mm. During world war two Vmail was very popular among American troops so that they could keep in touch with there family.

Hi Mr. Mundorf. I am doing my wonder project on who invented Lego's? I found out that a man named Mr. Ole Kirk Christiansen did in the year 1947. I chose this because I love playing with Lego's myself and was curious about who a came up with the idea to make them.

Hi Mr. Mundorf I did your extra credit on World war ll. I learned that there were 16,112,566 troops involved and there were 405,399 deaths in this war. Also the war lasted for 4 years (1941-1945). They used "submachine" guns in the war. The purple heart was connected to a purple ribbon and the metal is made in to a heart, the center of the heart has a profile picture of George Washington. On top of the heart is George's coat of arms. Have a happy Thanksgiving! :-D

Dear Mr Mundorf,

I thought you might be interested in this website www.brainetics.com as this gentleman Mike goes to various schools and guest lectures and encourages, stimulates the kids to think outside the box. Mike 's website has an e-mail request form to request he come to your school. I am interested in his program and think Katie would like and benefit from Brainetics. The website has a 20-20 link as the TV show did a piece on this guy Mike. It would be cool if he came down from Chicago and spoke to the kids at TBE and MICMS. What do you think!

Sincerely,

The War of Independence had a total of 217,000 troops, 4,435 deaths, and the people in battle were between the ages of 16 and 60! One of the signifigant people in the war was Charles McKnight. He was a physican and surgon. I also learned that George Washigton died after losing 4 and one half quarts of blood. Also, the army for the patriots didn't have a uniform or guns given to them. Instead they had thier own clothes and guns. Another instering fact was that on September 1631, court ordered all muskets to be divided equally between towns and plantaions in case of an attack.

I did my wonder project on the history of Television. I found out that the first TV was made by more than one person. The first color TV was actually a German idea. The first color TV to start brodcasting shows happened in December 17, 1953. That is what I did my wonder project on.

A site I used was:

I did my wonder project on Prairie Dogs. I learned that Golden Eagles and Ferrets are their predators. Coyote and the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake are not their predators. The coyote sneaks up on the Prairie Dog, but they are so cautious that they run away quickly. The rattlesnake is about to attack the Prairie Dog when other Prairie Dogs come and bite the snake. Some of them circle the snake to distract him while others come from behind and BITE! I also learned that when a female is near the edge of the group's territory they meet another female. They greet each other by putting their mouths close together and they touch tongues. When a female relizes that another female is not from their group, she makes a loud chattering noise. When the stranger doesnt immediately leave the female attacks it.

I got my info. from http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/prairie-dog.html

I wondered about the characteristics, religion, lifestyle, and culture of the Pawnee Tribe of the Great Plains. The Pawnee were basically farmers, but still hunted buffalo like most other Indian tribes. They had a religious ceremony that was called "The Morningstar Ritual" which I will reveal during my presentation....it has to do with a human sacrifice. I hope you enjoy my presentation.

To make a glow stick you need luminal, sodium carbonate, copper sulfate, pentahydrate (white powders), water and several clean, dry, clear bottles. First you combine hydrogen peroxide (liquid solution) and 1 liter of water in a ceramic bowl. Second, mix luminal, sodium carbonate, copper sulfate, and ammonium carbonate in a second non-metal bowl. Pour equal amounts of the liquid solution with equal amount of the powder mixture into each container and close the bottles, then WATCH IT GLOW! Chemical making energy and creating light, Science right in front of your eyes. http://www.pbs.org/kcet/wiredscience/story/

Hi Mr. Mundorf this is RBHoffman, I am posting for my wonder project, History of Thanksgiving. I learned that the first Thanksgiving was in 1621. The plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared the first Thanksgiving. Many of the foods we eat today at Thanksgiving wasn't on the first Thanksgiving and a lot of the foods that were on their menu we dont eat at Thanksgiving. I thought Thankgiving was just about the pilgrims but I found out that it is much more broad than that.
