Wonder Project- I did my paper on the Statue of Liberty. I have learned so many interesting facts about her that I couldn’t fit it on just a one page report. The Statue was actually made in France as a gift to the United States. She was shipped to us and had to be reassembled. It was a lot of work but she is so beautifull and over looks the New York Harbor. She stands 305 feet 1 inch from the ground to the tip of her torch. She stands for freedom and I can’t wait to there and see it for myself. After I did my report my Mom said she has never been to the Statue of Liberty either. Maybe this summer we will go there.
